+ Simon School certificate is for one of four courses that do not require you to be matriculated in the Simon MBA program: STR 401 (Managerial Economics), CIS 401 (Computers & Information Systems), GBA 411 (Frame, Analyze and Communicate 1), or ACC 401 (Corporate Financial Accounting) Expires Dec 2007. *What's a Chinese Auction?

Everyone at a Chinese auction has the opportunity to buy raffle tickets that are used to "bid" on the exciting prizes that have been donated for "auction." It's a raffle that calls for strategic thinking! You can place all of your tickets in one drawing basket, or put one ticket in every basket. The item goes to the person whose ticket is drawn, at random, from the basket. The more tickets you bid on an item, the better your chances of winning - but are you going after The Big Prize or a smaller item with fewer tickets in the basket? Do you want to bid early, or do you want to wait and see which items have the best odds? It's great fun, and you just might win the perfect gift for your very special someone. (You don't have to be present to win.)

About the Greater Rochester Jaycees

The Greater Rochester Jaycees (est. 1984) are 18-40 year old women and men who develop leadership skills through volunteer action. From 2000 to 2005, we gave over $84,000 and ~22,000 volunteer hours to local causes in Rochester, and that's just under our Community portfolio including events such as Balloon Manor, Monopoly Party, and Go Green and provided leadership training for over 100 local adults. We are affiliated with NY State Junior Chamber, US Junior Chamber, and Junior Chamber International, which means that we’re internationally networked to give bigger opportunities to our members.
